How do I get there?

A private transfer to/from the airport (on both arrival and departure) is included for everyone in the program.

Who is this program for?
  • Adventurers, culture lovers, nature seekers.
  • Students in A2/B1 levels (we're also having a beginners group).
  • Students that want to make the most out of their limited time in Costa Rica.
  • All those travellers that still would like to make considerable progress in their language skills.
  • Students of all ages from 18 and up.
How long is the program?

The TCP is 4 weeks long, if you can't stay that long you can choose the 2-week option and only attend the first half of classes & adventures.

Where are we staying?

We use home stays for our weeks in Coronado and Jacó, plus nice small hotels on all our other locations including the weekends. We are looking for a comfy but simple experience, not luxury! You can also choose to stay at our Student Residence and Student Apartments in our Coronado and Jacó weeks.

Are we sharing rooms?

Yes, all hotel stays are in shared rooms, home stays will be single. You can upgrade to full private rooms for an extra fee.

Are meals included?

Yes! Breakfast everyday is included plus dinners on home stay weeks (Coronado & Jacó, first two weeks). For all other meals we are going to nice places according to the group’s taste and budget. Additional meals are included with some of the activities.

I am a vegeterian/vegan, can you accommodate me?

Sure! All places where we are going to eat will have options, home stays can cook for special diets too. Just let us know in advance.

Do I have to know Spanish for the Traveling Classroom Program?

Yes and no! We started the program so students that already know some Spanish can practice in real life. However, we also opened a beginners group. Just remember, the more you know, the greater advantage you can take from the program! We aim for a A2/B1 level but variations can occurr.

When do I have to arrive?

Ideally, early Sunday morning just before the program starts. If it’s not possible, we recommend arriving on Saturday night. You will get a free extra night in that case to facilitate the program start (on our Student Residence, subject to availability).

What is not included?

Flight tickets, lunches and some dinners, extras during meals, your personal expenses, towels (in home stays), laundry service on weeks 3 & 4, tips and optional activities.

During the Traveling Classroom program, we will see the best of Costa Rica
