“My husband and I moved to Jaco 3 years ago with the intention of working in cross cultural ministry. The need to be able to converse in Spanish has been a priority of ours. We have continually taken intensive Spanish classes both abroad in Guatemala, in San Jose, and elsewhere here in Jaco through the past 3 years to continue to improve our Spanish speaking skills with the individuals with whom we work. Sadly, however our learning experiences oftentimes have not been fulfilling until studying at Academia Tica.

Academica Tica has been by far been the best learning experience for me. Although I was only able to study for 2 weeks, I learned more in those 2 weeks than in any of my other learning experiences. The instructors at Academica Tica are excellent. The material/activities used to present lessons is always relevant to the skills being taught. Instruction is done with purpose toward meeting individual goals of each individual. The staff is awesome.
