Academia Tica is one of only 3 Associate Centers for the Spanish Instituto Cervantes from Spain, whose main function is to oversee the teaching of Spanish in the world.

To achieve this status the school went though an in-depth evaluation by certified inspectors that visited the school.

Academia Tica is a member of IALC, a prestigeous UK based association (International association of Language Centers), and we commit ourselves to accept the IALC Code of Ethic.  - http://www.ialc.org/code_of_ethics.asp

Only a very small number of language centers in Costa Rica could fulfill the high standards expected by IALC to be accepted as members. Our Spanish language school is the only IALC member in Costa Rica as of 2007.

As an IALC school, Academia Tica is recognized as a valid destination for those Swedish students that qualify for a CSN grant from the Swedish government.

 

A German Bildungsurlaub recognized school

Academia Tica has been recognized to accept German students that take advantage of the Bildungsurlaub education aid provided by the German government.
