Spanish school testimonial: Marleen B.
Marleen started studying at the school in October 2016. Initially she enrolled for six weeks but was so excited about the experience that she decided to stay one more week. Part of that excitement was due to the surf lessons, she was one of our surf lovers! Thank you Marleen.
“I don’t like to say goodbye but my time here has ended. My seven weeks in the school were unforgettable, I was able to do everything I wanted: learn Spanish, surf, see the nature, go out to eat, go partying, and not being worried about anything.
The nature and watching the sunset while surfing were especially amazing. However, what made my time more special were the people I have met.
The students and “ticos” were very kind and for them my time was very enriching. I couldn’t have traveled and enjoyed the party without them, and I couldn’t speak so much Spanish without Academia Tica.

I really loved the classes and I feel that I learned a lot, more than I expected. This was because of the great energy of the teachers who love to teach. Every day in class was interesting and we could laugh a lot. I am very grateful to everyone for the classes and for their energy.
